Nevertheless, they weren't out of a Doritos bag like others. The hot sauce is addictive. I would recommend not parking in their small lot, it might be hard getting out of the space. There is a big parking lot close by with room and it's free. After all, when dining on Mex. Food, one has to walk afterwards! I had the taco plate and loved them. They were just plain good and even came with guacamole. The taco shells were crisp and fresh, with picadillo. Again, good job Emersen. We must have been checked on a half dozen times? ”

“ Visited Gruene on Saturday before Christmas and it was popping! Wanted a margarita and knew this was the place to go. There was no wait around 1 and we got a great table outside. Our service was great! Very nice waitress. We only ordered guacamole and some margaritas but it was all correct and came very quickly. The margaritas were yummy! I got a skinny margarita. It was pretty small but was tasty. The guacamole was really good and I LOVE their chips. Very crispy and yummy. Chips could be eaten on their own which I always like. The outside area was very pretty and had a great vibe. All in all a fun little restaurant that we will need to visit again. ”
